When we first launched GOGO Charters’ luxury line runs in Texas, we knew we were filling a major gap in intercity travel. What we didn’t expect was just how overwhelming the response would be. Thousands of Texans signed up for updates, media outlets across the state covered the launch, and passengers quickly embraced the idea of a more comfortable, reliable, and upscale way to travel between major cities.

Starting Summer 2025, GOGO Charters will launch daily intercity routes connecting Chicago to Milwaukee, Madison, and Indianapolis, offering Midwestern travelers a first-class alternative to driving, flying, or using traditional bus services.

Why the Midwest, and Why Now?

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 17 years in transportation, it’s that great service succeeds where there’s real demand — and the Midwest is primed for this expansion.

The latest Chaddick Institute report highlights an important trend: Intercity bus travel is recovering, but gaps in service remain. While passenger demand is climbing back to pre-pandemic levels, the industry has seen station closures and fewer route options, leaving travelers with fewer reliable ways to move between cities.

Chicago is the undisputed hub of the Midwest, yet many of the region’s key cities — Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis — lack consistent, high-quality intercity travel options. That’s where GOGO Charters comes in.

We’re stepping up to offer a luxury, high-frequency, and tech-driven travel experience that brings the best of modern mobility to Midwestern travelers.

Our New Routes

We’re launching two daily line runs from Chicago, covering major urban centers and smaller communities along the way:

  • Northbound Route: Chicago → Waukegan → Milwaukee → Waukesha → Oconomowoc → Sun Prairie → Madison
  • Southbound Route: Chicago → Gary → Merrillville → Lafayette → Indianapolis
