Before charter buses even hit the road, you'll be responsible for making sure they're in tip top shape so that passengers can enjoy a smooth trip with minimal technical issues.
Responsibilities
Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, transmission, and pneumatic systems of buses
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to above systems
Perform preventative maintenance
Remove defective components such as batteries, transmissions, and A/C compressors and install new parts
Keep organized records of repairs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of diesel or automotive program/maintenance apprenticeship program/DoD maintenance program or similar
