Shuttle bus drivers may help move passengers between parking lots, office campuses, school campuses, or other locations within a set enclosed area. These trips typically don’t cover long distances.
Responsibilities
Pickup and drop-off passengers in a timely manner
Perform pre- and post-trip bus inspections and maintenance reviews
Report potential bus malfunctions or safety hazards
Update DOT logs throughout each trip
Keep fuel tank at an appropriate level
Help passengers board and exit the bus
Help passengers load and unload luggage (if applicable)
Perform small cleaning or onboard maintenance tasks (if applicable)
