As a logistics coordinator, you'll need to manage multiple trips at once with varying passenger counts, bus types, lengths, destinations, and requirements.
Responsibilities
Handle daily transportation services in conjunction with customer service, sales, and other departments
Assist with export order processing
Monitor imports and process transactions
Maintain and analyze carrier contract files and routing databases
Maintain and analyze reports regarding transportation costs, carrier activity, etc.
Act as a liaison among multiple operators
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Excel
Superior communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask to keep up with multiple trips at once
