Charter a Bus in Long Beach, California Today!

California visitors won't want to miss the city of Long Beach. More than just a sandy shoreline spot, it offers unique luxury accommodations, one of the country's finest aquariums and special interest museums. It also comes with California traffic, so let GOGO Charters chauffeur you in a stylish charter bus. Your chauffeur navigates and manages the traffic stress while you relax and pick which sunny sight to see next.

The Port: If you see nothing else, visit the Port of Long Beach, the second busiest seaport in the country. If you ever wondered how your favorite foreign goods come to the U.S., it passes through this port - clothing to electronics. Items like petroleum and automobiles pass through specialized terminals. Watch the ships come into port and, while you're along the water, explore one of the most famous ships to dock here, the Queen Mary.

Museums: Enjoy "coming home" every day of your trip to the RMS Queen Mary, a retired ocean liner converted to a hotel. The ship sailed the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967, but now remains permanently moored at Long Beach. If you're just looking for a day trip, dine at one of her restaurants and explore the museum. Although one of the engine rooms, the propellers and the boilers were removed, you'll find the ship on the National Register of Historic Places and Historic Hotels of America register.

At the Museum of Latin American Art, you'll see the only museum in the country dedicated solely to modern and contemporary Latin American art. MOLAA features the work of more than 350 Latin American artist representing 20 countries and a 15,000 sq. ft. sculpture garden. You'll see art from Tamayo, Matta, Cruz-Diez, Los Carpinteros and Tunga. The more than 1,300 art pieces span painting, sculpture, sketch, photography and video.

The Neighborhoods: Don't miss the chance to see Rancho Los Alamitos, a pristine remnant of 7.5-acres out of the original 300,000-acre Los Coyotes land grant to Manuel Nieto in 1790. Before Spanish colonization, Rancho Los Alamitos belonged to the ancestral village of Povuuâ•’ngna, the original village of the Gabrielino-Tongva people of the Los Angeles Basin. The land was one of their sacred places.

Explore Naples on foot and by gondola to see all it offers. The neighborhood stretches over three islands in Alamitos Bay, divided by canals that open into the bay. See the  fountain at the neighborhood's center, drop into the shops and dine on the water.

Play along the shore at "Mother's Beach," a local favorite spot, officially known as Marine Park. This bayfront beach in the Naples neighborhood offers volleyball courts, playground, and picnic areas. It's perfect for kids due to a shallow swimming area and lifeguards on duty in peak use hours. It's also popular with kayakers and paddle boarders. Enjoy a nearby cafe or the beach concession stands.

Aquarium: Top off your visit at the Aquarium of the Pacific with more than 11,000 animals in 50 exhibits representing the Pacific Ocean's diverse aquatic life. Plan your visit ahead of time since it's crowded. Annually the aquarium hosts a little more than 1.5 million visitors. Enjoy the exhibits, hands-on activities and scientific lectures, plus a NOAA Science on a Sphere, a six-feet diameter globe that exhibits imagery and real-time ocean and weather data, as well as daily videos on sea level rise and marine ecosystems.

With so much to see and do in Long Beach, let a GOGO bus rental take care of the travel stress while you enjoy all this coastal town offers. Most buses feature HDTVs and on board WiFi. Select models come with bathrooms. You can enjoy your travel time as down time - even catching a nap in the cozy reclining seats. GOGO can provide a bus with as little as two hours notice, so enjoy the beach and we'll handle the rest.
